Plate heat exchanger for Bukh’s new V8 engine

SonFlow has supplied a plate heat exchanger for cooling Bukh’s newly developed V8 engine.

 

Torben Damberg, CTO at Bukh and their partner Punch Torino, who were both present during the final test and certification, are very impressed by the efficiency of the heat exchanger.

Torben Damberg quotes Punch: We believe that if we had more time available, we would have been able to get even more power out of the new V8 engine than the result of 530 hp.

 

The V8 engine has just been exhibited at the SMM fair in Hamburg, and the Genova Boat Show, both places showing great interest in the new engine.
