Single-pass and multi-pass solution

SonFlow plate heat exchangers can be supplied as either a single-pass or multi-pass solution, depending on the task.

  • Single-pass is the most commonly used solution. All connections are located on the fixed cover, making installation more cost-effective and servicing easier.
  • The multi-pass solution is used when there is only a small temperature difference between the flow media. In this configuration, connections are located on both the fixed and movable covers.

Cleaning and maintenance

All our plate heat exchangers are designed for easy access to quick and hassle-free inspection, maintenance, and cleaning.

  • The plates of the sanitary plate heat exchangers are made of stainless steel and are therefore easy to clean and disinfect
